Voter Participation at Yale

Yale participates in the National Study of Learning, Voting, and Engagement (NSLVE), along with over 1,000 colleges and universities. The Tufts University initiative collects data that serves as a foundation for research on college student political learning and engagement in democracy.  The recently released report on the 2012 and 2016 elections shows that Yale’s participation grew, and is higher than many colleges and universities. We attribute this to the work of students to engage their peers. Read the full report here.
