An Indigenous Peoples’ Day message from Kimberly Goff-Crews, Secretary and Vice President for University Life

October 10, 2021

Members of the university community are marking Indigenous Peoples’ Day on October 11 and November’s Indigenous Peoples Month. Events on IPD include a rally, chapel service, recognition, and meals.  You can find more details on the Native American Cultural Center’s calendar of upcoming events.  I am particularly looking forward to November 10’s Windham-Campbell Lecture by Joy Harjo, U.S. Poet Laureate and musician, performer, and writer of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation.
