Early Voting Information

October 18, 2024

Dear Students,

Many states across the nation, including Connecticut, now offer early voting options. October 21 will mark the beginning of early voting in Connecticut, reflecting a new state law that allows individuals to vote in person ahead of Election Day. Early voting will be open from October 21 through November 3, with Election Day falling on November 5. Throughout this period, Connecticut voters can register to vote and cast their vote on the same day. Dates and times for early voting may vary by location.

You may visit the Connecticut Secretary of State website or contact your local election office to learn more about this process. If you are planning to vote in another state, be sure to check early voting dates and deadlines in that state.

Now is the time to make your plan to vote. Please visit the Yale Votes website for more information on registering to vote, changing your registration, and voting in person or by mail.

Best regards,
