ADRIAN VAN SINDEREN (1957). Adrian Van Sinderen, B.A. 1910, “to stimulate book collecting among undergraduates, to encourage bookbuying, book-owning, and book-reading both as a hobby and as a fundamental part of the educational process.” Prizes are awarded not on the basis of the rarity or monetary value of the books but for the imagination and intelligence used by the student in forming the collection.
