The official Latin diplomas for degrees conferred at May Commencement are distributed at a separate ceremony in each residential college and professional school. Diplomas for the Graduate School are presented in Woolsey Hall and Horchow Hall.
Diploma Pick up Request
Following Commencement in May, students who did not receive their diploma at the Commencement ceremony may pick it up by appointment on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday between the hours of 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Please complete and submit the Diploma Request Form to schedule an appointment. Identification must be shown when picking up a diploma. To receive diplomas, graduates must have paid all debts to the University in full.
Diploma Mailing Request
Students who do not expect to attend Commencement and would like to have their diploma mailed must complete and submit the Diploma Request Form.
May 2020 diplomas will be mailed after August 1, 2020.
Law degrees conferred in May 2020 will be mailed after August 1, 2020.
Diploma Conferred Mid-year
Mid-year diplomas will be mailed six weeks after the degree has been conferred. To receive diplomas, graduates must have paid all debts to the University in full.
If a diploma mailing address is not provided in advance, the diploma will remain at the Office of the Secretary and Vice President. Please complete and submit the Diploma Request Form to request mailing of your diploma or schedule a pick up time. Identification must be shown when picking up a diploma.
Students who qualify for degrees in December from the Graduate School may request their diploma now and still attend Commencement. Please refer to the Diploma Request Form to submit a request for your diploma. You will also need to complete the GSAS Commencement Response Form by April 15th to confirm your attendance at Commencement. December diplomas will be available in early February.
