Founder’s Day - Wednesday, October 11, 2017

October 10, 2017

Dear Yale faculty, students, and staff,

You are invited to celebrate the fourth annual Yale Founders Day on Wednesday, October 11. Events will take place throughout the day, including open houses, tours, and a fall festival on Cross Campus from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A celebration of the 90th anniversary of the university chaplaincy will also take place on Cross Campus from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

I encourage you to visit the full schedule of events to make your plans, and invite you to participate in the #InspiringYale Instagram Contest and the Founders Day Passport Contest. Staff, faculty and students can also play Where’s Walter? to identify where Handsome Dan XVIII is photographed in spots around campus. Information about these contests, including the prizes you can win, is available on the Founders Day website.

I hope you will join President Salovey, me, and others throughout the university on Wednesday to celebrate our past and present and look toward our future.
