E. FRANCIS RIGGS MEMORIAL PRIZE. Lawrason Riggs, B.A. 1910, in memory of his father and brother. The prize is awarded annually to that member of the freshman class of Yale College enrolled in the Special Courses in the Humanities for freshmen who, in the judgment of the Committee on award of the prize, consisting of the faculty teaching those courses, demonstrates the best knowledge of general culture by means of the distinction of his/her performance.
